The Johnstown America built Aluminum Vehicle Carrier
The exclusive Vision Line models must be made entirely out of sheets of aluminum that are cut, punched, stamped, or drilled then welded together to become an authentic representation of the Aluminum Vehicle Carrier.
No plastic injection molds needed.
Stamp the aluminum parts. Laser cut the aluminum parts. Weld the aluminum parts.
Screw or bolt the trucks and couplers on them
Make the specific versions for Canadian Pacific, Canadian National, and AMTRAK AUTO-TRAIN.
Apply the appropriate vinyl decals and retroreflective decals to these Aluminum Vehicle Carriers.

Corrugated gondolas that are made entirely out of thin sheets of stamped and bent steel that are welded together.
Railroad specific designs for these corrugated gondolas.
Chicago & North Western, Missouri Pacific, and Southern Pacific had a version built by Greenville Steel Car Co.
There were corrugated gondolas built for the Great Northern that the Burlington Northern repainted.
Conrail had corrugated gondolas.
UNION PACIFIC had corrugated gondolas.

Lionel should also make a Vision Siemens Charger in the following liveries:
-ACE (SC-44)
-Amtrak Ph. VI and Special Paint Schemes (ALC-42)
-Amtrak California, Michigan, Missouri, and Washington (SC-44)
-Pacific Surfliner (SC-44)
-Brightline (SCB-40)
-COASTER (SC-44)
-MARC (SC-44)
-VIA Canada (SCB-40)

The Chargers need the illuminated engine room, strobe lights, front and rear headlights, and ditch lights all with on/off functionality. The California and Surfliner versions need the spoiler on the rear.
The Vision passenger cars (including new StationSounds cars) to make for the Chargers:
-Siemens Passenger Cars
-Bi-Level Commuter Cars
-Amtrak Superliners
Also, the turntable and bridges are a must.

I live in San Diego and love the Surflner. I have the MTH RK PS3 F59PH with the business, coach cafe, baggage and four coach cars. I do wish the car were actual commuter styled cars instead of painted superliner cars. I came accross the K Line Surfliner on ebay but couldnt justify the heavy price. I would hope ATLAS or Lionel can continue to make them.
