Forgive me for posting this here, but I would like to know if I can get the print edition, without extra cost, if I become a premium member?

No sir, I think it's separate. Is for me anyway.
I don't want the print edition for free but I find it curious that I cannot buy a package deal with a premium membership, print magazine and DVDs. Marketing, offer discounts for additional products if purchased all at once

Probably no more easily than I can get a free premium forum membership for subscribing to the magazine for many years. 
No I don't think you can, but you can subscribe to the print version and then get a premium membership to help support keeping this this nice forum going with all the knowledgeable folks willing to answer our questions as soon as we post them. That's what I have done. Money well spent for what you get from it all.
With the premium membership, you have access to three or four years worth of prior issues, you can download any issue in the archive in PDF form, where you can look at on various devices. I like tablets. I also store individual articles that I Iike, (Ed's collector corner comes to mind) to make them easier to find. I still get the print edition, but at some point, I may just go with the online version. Also note that the last several editions of the online version have had additional content including video. So there is a lot of value-added with the electronic version. Lastly, it's much more timely than the print version.. hope this helps
