The Lionel Construction Company just finished building the new pedestrian bridge for Imogene Iowa layout, linking the old town with what locals call "New Town". The construction company decided the most economical method was joining two surplus 6-14083 spans and removing the unneeded staircases on the North sides. To address the elevation differences, Lionel constructed a limestone pillar using local quarried stone, and extending the staircase to reach the ground..
Already the postman is one of the first using the bridge to cross over busy traffic and trains, with mail for "Old Town".
