Here’s another video from last year, no problem. When I’m working in the basement I’ll have them running in DCS for hours and there’s no problems.

This S curve is two 036 curves backwards from each our. It sure seems to be tracking fine to me.
I'm not getting all the vitriol in the comments, he has his reasons for wanting to do what he describes, I don't see how it's helping.
Would I go to that much trouble to eliminate the center rail and keep the pizza cutter wheels? No, but it's not my RR. I learned to live with that center rail, I don't even see it now.
Yeah yeah yeah. Checks in the mail and I won’t ……… you know the rest. You would have been done already

Well, that I kinda' understand.
Mr MCD4x4,
Have you thought of laying an outer third rail instead of insulating all those wheels? This way instead you make and add a couple outside third rail pick ups to all your cars. I know what you are talking about on the 3/16 axles though. I replaced the wheels on one of the MTH single truck street cars with scale profile wheels. It sounds similar to the trucks on your cars with the 3/16” axles. I used a lathe for that and made bushings to adapt the center of the new wheels to the MTH axles.
I have a question Brian. If you had a dog bone loop that comes back to the same track how do you plan to switch polarity without affecting dcs
