A friend showed me a really nice 3D building he had ordered and shared the website with me. I am amazed at the detail and price these are incredibly intricate buildings, lots of O scale and smaller scales would look good in forced perspective. Going to try to order some and have some fun painting them up amazing detail.

Aren’t We so very fortunate to still have our original Capital standing. 🇺🇸

Thank you for sharing @kj356.

Are you referencing Carpenters Hall in Philadelphia during the revolution or New Yorks Federal Hall when the constitution was put into effect in 1789?

oh boy you are quick this morning.  I was using too many adjectives in the post. I’m glad you reminded me of the our very first Philly Hall.
I believe I intended to refer to the current capital location rather than the 3D version.

Speaking of Philly, they have the collapsed bridge ready for I-95 traffic again according to the news.

the underpass was boxed up and filled with fired glass jars.  Photos reminded me of ballast for train roadbed. Road bed repaved over the glass and ready for traffic today.  Amazing.

thanks

Amazing detail.  But oh my gosh does painting look like a long and arduous process.

I've gotten one of these houses.

These are generally pretty decent particularly for the price. Filament printed so a little rough on the surface with some stringy bits everywhere to clean up.  All around pretty good although the primary roof tends to be a little more on the toy side vs. the nicer scale looking shingles on the secondary roofing.

Painting one of these tests your sanity. Doing the porch area of the house I got would be a lot easier if it were not a 100% assembled structure.

Mine came with an interior section that pulls out - got some warps in it and have not painted as yet.
