Is Lionels "New garage" structure off?

I dont know about you but i dont remember seeing in the USA as well as some parts of Ontario Canada a garage roof that resembles Lionels newest structure. Whats off is the slope of the roof drops at the garage door and the back wall. Usually the roof slopes off to the sides. I didn't hear the pod casts with Ryan so I don't know if this error was addressed.

I just counted at least four with that roof arrangement in my parent’s Detroit area neighborhood without leaving the house. They definitely exist but maybe aren’t as common as other styles.
