My Lionmaster Big Boy 4011 has been having issues with smoke. I blow in to the whistle some air and it gets smoke out of the stack for 10 seconds. Is my fan dead?
Tim, shut your sound off and listen for the fan motor like Laidoff sick stated. Watch the meters on your transformer as you turn smoke on/off to see a difference when you turn it on. When you blow down the stack, can you feel any warm air coming out?
That is a very easy unit to change a fan motor in.
Well......if you can hear it, then it's spinning Does it stay on while running the engine with smoke on? Is the stack possibly blocked by the batting? Are you sure there is "enough" smoke fluid in it.
Or a melted/broken impeller blade. Happened to my S3, melted blade cause the impeller to stick. So it sounded like it was running, but the impeller wasn't actually spinning.
