I picked up this older MTH Dash-9 Premier Diesel (20-2267-1) at a recent auction. It is missing a front door and a ditch light cover. When I looked at the MTH site, the picture doesn't show these ditch lights? Does anyone know if they were original equipment on this model? (BTW, they work and oscillate... a feature I always wanted to have one of and got this as a surprise on this model.)
Any ideas where I could find the door and/or the ditch light cover as parts?

I'd recommend keeping an eye on the big auction site. You can usually find empty locomotive shells on there for not too terrible a price, pick off what you need, and resell it (with the proper caveats listed of course). Or keep it around for spares.
I asked MTH for a long time about getting a door handle or the whole door for an SD70ACe I have but they never had anything. I picked up one off the Bay and now it's good as new!
As to whether the ditch lights were original, I'm not sure.
If you look at the 2000 Vol 3 catalog here it does list operating ditch lights, although in the picture on page 18/19 has them located slightly differently.
