I do not believe so; the circuit breaker should be located under the overload light next to the DU throttle handle and the CU dial. The image below (from another thread on the forums) shows the relative location of the breaker.

Hi Greg, just to make it clear there two different breakers used by Lionel. The one you show in your photo and a cylindrical one located per John's photo. Yours is the easiest to replace and most parts dealers carry these. I use Jeff Kane (The Train Tender) for my parts but as I said earlier most dealers have them.    Lenny

Ive replaced a few of those. but instead

of using an original, I use an electronic one from

radio Shack. They work better and breaker the circuit faster

to keep your trains safe.

If you are not sure of your do it your self skills, get an electrician

to do it for you. When dealing with 120 volt household current,Transformers are not a do it your self project.

I'll be replacing the rollers and the rectifier with a diode this week end. I'll look for the 2nd breaker.
