Can anybody tell me a value of this set in C-5 condition? Engine 8218 cars 60, 61, 62. Circa 1916-1917? Thanks. Trainman23

I checked my Ives guide and the early cars are pretty valuable but the later ones, in the time frame you noted do not have a whole lot of value. Can't find the engine but it is probably a 3218. same thing, the early ones have a lot more value. Does the engine run ?? I would guess the set is worth $200-300. Maybe someone who is more of an expert can help you a little more.

thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. My o gauge price book didn’t go back that far.
I have an old Ives Greenberg book but I think the value are close. Seems like there is a big drop off in value with the later ones-1916-17. The early engines were valued at $800 !! I have a 3218 but doubt it is the early one. Have to check. I like the Ives trans.
Thanks so much Jim for your help!!
