Ah, now that's much better.   looks like an Ives again.  This little depot with the cut-out freight piled in the doorway is very cool, I've never seen that detail done on any other tinplate.  nice job.   didn't take you long.

 

i see you have the MTH clock ticking away there.   Lots of fun changing the battery in that?  Arrgh!

My only suggestion might be to take some super fine steel wool and rub out the new paint once it is fully cured. That'll bring the gloss down a touch to match the tone of the old litho. Experiment on something else first...

 

I was thinking the gloss was a little much and I love gloss but if memory serves I have used a spray clear coat that has a semi gloss finish which I may consider.
