Finally going to go to this show after looking at the huge list of exhibitors and hearing so many good things. Anyone else going? anybody who has gone in the past have any tips? Thanks

You will find a large number of OGR Forum members at this show. It is one of my favorites. Different from York with what seems like a dozen operating layouts, and many 1:1 train items along with all the O Gauge offerings from hundreds of vendors.
May I suggest our annual gathering at the OGR Booth at 1:00 PM for a group picture on Saturday?

I have gone been going for 10 years this year. It's a great show. Wear proper walking shoes it is a ton of walking. However, well worth it I always seem to find something not on my list haha.
1. Bring money
2. Like Paul said, show up for the Forum picture
3. Bring money
4. Like Khayden said, comfortable shoes.
5. Bring money
You get the idea. Lots of good stuff and a lot of walking to get it.

Pretty much the best train show there is ! it's a must see

This is the only show I have been attending over the last ten years that has actually grown. That includes dozens of local shows and York.
Model Railroading is alive and well in New England.

I’ll be there. See you guys at the OGR booth at 1:00.

If they show up this year? Weather is a big part of it. I'll be there as always.
here's all you needed to know about the show.

having you guys over running trains a few years ago was a lot of fun. Look forward to seeing you guys this coming show.
Will be there also.
I never really bring a wishlist, since there are so many items there, I always find something I do not expect and like (and I always remember the items that I could have bought, but did not and now regret)!

sounds like i need to start selling my plasma now or find a bank to rob so I have ammunition to buy stuff LOL
Hi Gary, if OGR does not attend we can always take over Steves booth at RCS
Looking forward to seeing everyone.

toooooo cold.
I'll be there both days. (If the weather cooperates) This is a great (BIG) show.
Great show..I've lost count of the number of years I've attended. Seems I ALWAYS find stuff to buy there...often times items I didn't even know I needed/wanted...LOL!! Looking forward to it!
Eddiem and I will be there. Then dinner at the Red Rose.
The Big E is a great show, and I will be there.
It looks like I am finally going to make it there this year! I look forward to meeting some of you there!

You can print out floor plans (on Amherst website) and highlight certain vendors you definitely want to see. It is very easy to miss things. First few years I did a bit of backtracking.
Great show. A lot to take in. IT’S worth braving the cold!

Just looking at the vendors list. I don't see OGR listed at all. Not surprising as they have shown up less and less over the years. Hope I'm wrong.
On another positive note. I see MR. Muffins trains is attending in the Better Living Center building. Can't wait to meet the gang where so much of my stuff comes from.

Weather is a big factor. I remember a couple of years ago driving to the show and seeing signs on the Mass Pike for blizzard warnings! I said to myself; Naaa! We’re not getting a blizzard! I think it snowed every weekend till June after that!
Look forward to this show all year. I plan to be there both days. Have been attending since (I think) 1998. Especially looking forward to meeting forum members for the picture and lunch.

Fun show to attend. Lots of operating displays in every gauge in addition to vendor booths/tables. As I recall, the vendors selling O are in a variety of halls, so it's good to download the exhibitor map before you go and circle the ones you want to visit http://www.railroadhobbyshow.com/pdf.php.
My favorite train show and IMO, the best I have ever seen including York. LOTS of great train displays and operating layouts. There is something railroady for everyone. Lots of great ideas for O scale/gaugers even though the predominance is HO/N. The Big E is my favorite railroad day. NOT to be missed and I am the Big E.
Great show.
Attending this train show is the one thing that I miss the most since I moved to Florida. A great show. I hope the weather is good for everyone.
I love this show! Thanks for the reminder to prepay for tickets! Payday is tomorrow!
Here are some pics from years past!!!
