I was shocked when Don notified me about Jim last night. Those who have been around for a while know what a valued contributor he has been to the magazine and to this forum. Above all, he is a dear and highly valued friend, and I always look forward to spending a bit of time with him at the York Meet.
We WILL do it again in October, my friend, so get on the mend soon! Wendy and I wish you a speedy recovery. Listen to the docs...they worked a miracle on my ticker back in 2000, and with God's blessing and paying careful attention to my own well-being, I am still doing pretty darn well for an old man. I'm sure Pat will also make certain you get back on the right track (pun intended) in short order.
I met Jim at York when he was part of a layout building seminar. What a super nice guy and talented modeler. Jim, I will be sending up some prayers that you have a complete recovery.
Jim, prayers and best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.
Sorry to hear this about Jim. I always enjoy reading his posts and articles! Get well soon Jim.

Jim, I too join the throng of well-wishers! You have been a wonderful presence here for a long time, and have many admirers. Get rest, get healed, enjoy many more years of fun with trains!
