wondering if anyone has had issues with the drive shaft (aka drive pin?) on this engine. I get a ticking sound when in reverse and occasionally in forward which makes me nervous to continue running it. Seems to be coming from this area of the engine.
any experiences would be appreciated.

I do not own one however, I have a Lionel mountain that had a clicking sound coming from the driveshaft. I put a couple drops on the u-joint pivots and the noise disappeared.
