Just got my "dream" Locomotive, what is yours?

I don't know if I have a "dream" locomotive, BUT.... I can say that after getting back into the hobby, I'm more of a modern diesel fan.  Never really cared for steam, however, as of late, my feelings have changed.  After being at DOC's house and then Patrick's, my goal is to get a steamer.  DOC has a couple of Cab Forwards which I've become extremely fond of, Scrapiron Scher was selling one, but I couldn't afford it.  If I had to pick a "dream" loco though, it'd be a toss up.

Just bought, but haven't picked up yet, an Imperial Railking Norfolk & Western Allegheny  from a forum member.

Mike,  I'm pretty sure you'll like that Allegheny, We had the original issue RK model for awhile and it was a champ. Actually quite large compared to the other RK articulateds, it was impressive. Your Imperial version should be even nicer!

I really like any loco with a turbine in it, I used to fly Turbine powered model jets. These things are powered with a miniature real turbine engine and its sound is music to my ears. Hence any loco with a turbine is very very interesting to me and I try to get it.

Sunset has a couple of the TE1 in stock and the 3R can run on 0-54???? Great....

I will do my best to get the TE1 and the Aux tender, the problem is the recent SS AC9, that looks great too...Ahhhh, so much candy and not enough money to buy it

This and a matching, powered B unit with Legacy from Lionel. Hoping that with the offerings of the FA-2s in the 2014 Signature that they add a few new railroads in the fall, similar to what they did with the GP-35s last year.

OK, I'm late to the party but I gotta add one.

I just picked up a MTH Premier PS1 Big Boy with TAS installed TMCC.

It's awesome !  They kept the PS1 sounds and added the Command system and linked them together.

What a MASSIVE MONSTER of an engine ! Makes my Imperial Railking version small in comparison. Looked good pulling the Military consist too.
