I appreciated the Clinchfield photos above so had to throw in my recent arrival. This is just a photo share of the new Lehigh Valley GP7 Flyerchief diesel. Very nice paint finish and details for a high-rail model of #300. I hope to run it soon. For now it's a display in my office.

Nice photography also. I was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley my favorite railroad. Thanks for posting photos of this beautiful locomotive
I just edited your post so the images appear within the post. Nice loco!
Also, the locomotive is a “GP7”, not a “GP-7.” EMD did not use dashes in the basic model numbers. The only place where they ever used dashes was in the “Dash 2” series, as in GP38-2, GP40-2, SD40-2, etc.
Rich, I corrected my nomenclature to GP7. Thanks.
I also just received my LV #300 GP7. The detail and screen printing is fantastic, much better than expected for FlyerChief. I didn't want to wait until the Christmas layout was up to run it, so I threw a quick oval of Fastrack down to test it. I was very impressed with how well it ran, I had previously read there were issues with the new GP7s being "jerky" when moving slowly using the FlyerChief remote over a transformer, but I did not encounter this issue, it ran very smoothly. I was worried the single motor in this version wouldn't preform very well, but it pulls well and maintains constant speed through the corners. I was testing on a 0% grade, so I don't have data on how well it pulls uphill. I was pulling 3 x depressed flatcars with wire spools (these are heavy cars), 2 x gondolas with coils, 3 x gondolas with pipes, and 1 x extended vision caboose (also heavy). It pulled all these cars with no issues. It is my first FlyerChief locomotive and I have to say I am impressed with the system and the overall product (I just ordered the new PRR Baldwin as well). I am happy to see Lionel is keeping AF going and updating the technology along with the O-Gauge products. I do wish Lionel would make more diesel locomotive offerings in FlyerChief, like the GP20 or SD40, there are some classic road names that would look fantastic on a Flyer SD40. Overall I very pleased with the Lehigh Valley GP7, I hope you enjoy yours as well.
Congratulations on the acquisition of these beautiful locomotives, very nice, and great to hear that they run well.

Looks good! The FlyerChief GP7’s pull very well. I have one in UP livery. Below is a picture of it pulling 20 (count them) freight cars up a 2.2% grade. The cars are a mix of Gilbert, Lionel AF, AM and MTH. All have carefully lubed axles. There is wheel spin and if stopped it will not start the train on that grade. It will start and pull 15 cars.
MTH made LV fish belly hoppers with multiple road numbers in 2021 that would go well with that engine. Pictures below.
