K-line 4880 series passenger cars

The easiest way is to use complete interiors. They show up in the auction sites all the time. Search “passenger interior” now and see whats there. You won’t be disappointed. You snooze, you loose.

Has anyone had any experience upgrading a K-line 4880 series car with silhouettes and frosted windows to one with interiors and passengers?  I suspect K-line used the same body molds for both cars.  If so, it would be moderately simple to use the windows, interior, and people from one car body and re-install them into another car body.

I have a set of K-line K4880-7992 red Pennsylvania/Pullman cars and would like to add a car in Brunswick green but this car was never made with interiors with passengers.  I have a coach from a K-line K4880-D set which can serve as a donor for it's windows and an interior.  I do not want to  get into a project and find that there is simply no way to do this simply.

I would still like to know if anyone has had any experience installing K-line clear windows from a 4880 into one which was built with frosted silhouettes.  I am interested in upgrading a factory 4880.
