Can anyone tell me if you can replace the sound board on the broadway diner? Or is this even an option. It lights up and smokes but believe the sound must of been wired wrong and went out.

Contact BRASEUER Trains. They have replacement parts for K-Line. They bought all the remaining parts when they went "Belly UP"!

Mine never worked so I forgot about it. Probably would be annoying after a few minutes anyway.

You could probably put in an inexpensive sound module to replace it if you really wanted sound. For around $12 you can get one that you can record the content of, a customized diner.

Here is a like that will allow you up to 200 seconds of recordings for your diner. Hope this helps.

The sound of the Broadway diner is strictly a novelty. It is too short and just repeats itself every time you push the button. Not very useful, I would not spend a nickel to fix mine if it went out. I think gunrunnerjohn and laz57 have a better way to go.
The modules I speak of can have as many as five different clips, each triggered by a different pushbutton. Just think of the possibilities.
