K Line by Lionel Milk Car Spring

Hello Lonnie,

Home depot sells a package of assorted springs for around five dollars, may have one you could use.  I needed a spring for a Lionel sprung truck and found one in the assortment that worked.

Thanks for your reply.  I'll go over there later today.  My spring has a loop in the middle of it and it looks like a V with the loop at the bottom of the V.

I decided to use a simple rubber band until I find a spring.  I bought a bag of assorted rubber bands six months ago when the drive belt failed on my Wimpy’s Hot Dog Stand.  That is still working and I hope the milk car continues to work too.
