I have a K-Line wooden caboose in Milw Rd that sees regular service. It's pretty close to the actual prototype, although the Milw did modify these cabooses during their repairs and overhauls. I also have a bay window K-Line caboose like the one that Art (chugman) has in an earlier photo. The Milwaukee painted their cabeese orange ever since the 1930's or so.
What i would really like to see is a couple of C&NW cabooses, both with a cupola as well as with bay windows, painted in caboose red. Everyone does the yellow and green paint scheme but the Northwestern really never used that late model color until the 1960's or so. Be nice to have a couple from my era (1950) to put behind a train or two.
