I have two K-Line engines purchased from K-Line when K-Line was an ongoing business prior to its demise with Lionel.  Saddly enough I have missplaced the manuals for these engines (must have put them in a "safe" place ).

I have looked the net over from A to Z without any sucess of finding these manuals.  I am specificly wanting to know how to "lash" these engines to each other AND the "reprogram engine" proceedure.  I have been trying to use the Lionel approach, however Lionel addresses the post K-Line models as (of course) Lionel's redo of these K-Line engines.  There seems to be something missing between the K-Line instructions and the Lionel instructions.

The engines are:

K2402-4005CC  Alaska SD70MAC #4005 (Command & Speed Control)

and

K2733-5019CC  Great Northern Scale EP-5 (comm w/RS, EC, cruise).

The SD70MAC was only issued as a K-Lionel item. K-Line went belly up before it was produced, and Lionel shipped the units in Lionel boxes to customers who had prepaid for the engines. I have the Santa Fe version; as I recall there are a couple of errors in the manual regarding mislabeled switches, and I think the program/run switch on the engine may be mislabeled. I'll check mine when I get a chance. As far as the procedure to create an MU set (I dare not speak the forbidden word "lash-up"), it is exactly the same for all TMCC locomotives, as is the procedure for resetting the engine number in TMCC. The only difference would be the number that you punch in if you have to reset the engine. If I can find this information for the two units you asked about, I'll post it.
