I caught a video on Youtube of a K-Line operating milk car that I didn't know existed. Are any of these still around ?

I sold a set with both the loading and unloading building and the car a while back, they're still floating around.
I too had both of them nice items. smooth and quiet. Just don't mix up the K-line cans with the Lionel ones.....
I have a K-Line Milk Car that does not work. The belt that moves the cans from the entry door to the man delivering the cans does not move. It worked fine for the first few months. Seems like the electronics would be difficult to replace because the parts are not available. When it was working its operation was very smooth.
There's more than the board, I believe there's some limit switches that may be causing the issues.
John. I think you are right, I can hear sounds like the belt is moving but it is not moving, in addition the sounds continue even after I move it off the RC track. At first the belt was moving but the man did not come out of the doors. Then when the belt was no longer moving the man did come out of the doors but had no cans to deliver. Now it is hit or miss if the man comes out of the door. I guess the timing is off for the micro switches. I have not removed the body from the frame because there are a number of screws on the bottom of the car and I am not sure which screws hold the body on.
I have one of the old Lionel milk can cars. It never worked smoothly. So I put an ERR AUX board in it and have the most fun I ever had with it throwing milk cans out as it goes around the layout.

I also have the K Line milk car and find it to be very useful and entertaining. I have one which does not work however and have been entertaining getting an ERR command board to see if I can make it semi-manual instead of fully automatic as the K Line setup was. As mentioned there are micro switches as well as the circuit board and all has to be in good order for the system to work.
I recently did this conversion to a K Line dump car which had stopped working. I set the ERR board to control the DC motor which raises and lowers the bin and manually time the raising and lowering of the bin. It is actually more fun now that I am more involved in the operation.
Just a thought......

Hmm, the fact that it is not purely mechanical is a turn off for me. Don't like electronics.
