Howdy,
I have a K-Line MP-15 KCC with dual motor trucks. One of the trucks wheels or gears or motor will only turn about a quarter way around in either direction. The gears are all clear and well lubed. Could the motor have simple broke? Amy ideas will be greatly apppreciated.

If the wheels are turning a quarter turn, the motor is going through a number of revolutions, so I doubt it's the motor sticking. Look closer at the gears.
Check the gears, look for a small piece of ballast if you ballasted your track. Look for a random piece of scenic foliage. Try to manually spin the wheels to see where it stops. I once had the smallest piece of ballast stuck in a gear, almost could not see it but it was enough to stop the gear.
Somehow that was it. I could not see anything in the gears, even after I got the truck off the frame and removed all I could. However, using a tiny flat screwdriver I scraped miniscule buildup out of several teeth and it’s running again. Big thanks to the OGR brain trust.
