For those of us who are Christians, we need to step up and 'do the works of Jesus' as He commanded us to do. When He sent out the 70 in pairs to pray for the sick, feed the hungry, etc, He didn't say "if you find a sick person come get me and I'll accompany you to pray for them". He said You pray for the sick, You feed the hungry, You cast out devils". He gave us that authority to use His Name to do the things He did. We just need to believe that and act on it!

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bless Jim with a successful surgery and that the Drs and attendants perform their jobs with expertise and that he be healed completely and make a full recovery. Amen

I want to thank all of you for your prayers get well wishes. Other than the passing of my wife a year ago this will be the most challenging event of my life. Hopfully I can return to a somewhat normal life and continue everything that I enjoy including making Model train bridges and train sheds for all of you fine people. I have a great familly, neighbors, freinds, and all of you supporting me, so thankyou very much. I will try and keep everyone up to date on my website.

thanks.

Thankyou everyone. The operation was postponed due to an inoperative CT scanner used during the entire procedure. So tomorrow is the day. I know this will be tough, however as they say "lets get this on " as ive got many more things in life to accomplish.

Im sure I will be out of commission for a couple weeks, but ill try and keep everyone updated.

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to give everyone an update on Jim's surgery. He had the procedure done on Friday and it seems all went well. 7 1/2 hours. Jim is resting up and will be going though 2 weeks of rehab once he is given OK by his doctor.  He is in a pretty complicated neck brace to keep his head from moving.  I will be talking to him after a few more days of recovery.

Please wish him well for Bryant and Theresa.  I was going to volunteer a couple of hours in his booth at York in October.  Jim has been a great resource and friend.  I'm glad things went well for him.  Fingers crossed, and still praying for a full recovery.
