Hello all

EMD F3 sold by Ken Kraft brass castings by Adams & son, early 1949. Sales were minimal due to Atwater diecast F3 concurrent introduction and Lionel's F3 which reached full production by the end of year.

Love them Carrey!  Even if the Atwater have better nose shape and details.  I have an Adams and Son EMD FT that I am getting ready to adapt a CLW drive into here soon.   Previous owner polished the shell to a nice shine.  For some reason the previous owner filed away the rear two radiator fan details. Just some All Nation trucks placed under it in these pics taken when I got it last winter.

I have a cast brass CLW Alco PA as well, its powered with the sprung trucks.  Its also polished up but one day it will be a NKP Bluebird if I can find someone to paint it for me.  She does have does have the angled numberboards now and a dual beam Mars light inset in the upper housing.  Need to get a pair of single chime horns as she will be "as delivered" without the inset nose bell and M5 horn that the NKP updated them with.   And, yes, she does run as I tested her back and forth on a piece of track.
