I take it your talking about the F3 sets that you passed on for 750.00.
No worries there are others out there. I like Hot's approach and building a more appropriate set from the Williams E7's.
If you are missing Atlas cars from the earlier releases, don't panic, they are out there. I saw the domes in the 3 rail version sell on the bay for around a buck and a half last week.
I have a DRGW diner on my consist and if its not prototypical I am not concerned. Allot of passenger trains used consist out west in a "pull car" type operation.
The Northern Pacific would pull and drop cars as necessary as they went out west. Thus when they got to their destination in Spokane or Seattle the consist could be mixed with CB&Q coach and sleeper cars as well.
