King Kong

It would, no doubt, be my EM-1 Yellowstone. Although truthfully (and what I thought this thread was about) I wouldn't mind a scale King Kong to put on top of my tallest building.

Mine hasn't been decided, they are still battling it out for top spot and the 'Alpha Engine' position.

My MTH Spokane Portland & Seattle Z-6 is the king of the road on the Seattle & Yakima RR.

Undecided here.  The Y3, M1 and L1 got beat a long time ago, the T1 is losing ground because it can't keep its footing, and there is no catenary to power the GG1. The thoroughbreds J1 and Q2 are going at it, but an old timer, the N1, has a lot of low speed power and is still hanging in there.  I'm rooting for the N1.

To be frank, the big guys stumble around like bulls in a China shop on my layout: I have scale Big Boy, EM-1, Allegheny, Challenger, etc, and track wide enough to take them, but them look out of place, with rather silly looking stick out up front,  etc., and they tend to collect trees, etc., I keep planting to near the track as they chug around the layout.   

The Alpha on my layout, the light heavywieght can beat the superheavywieghts, is my ATSF 2900.  I have took the body off an old MTH PS1, and mounted it on the chassis from a Legacy 3751 (the drivers, wheelbase, etc., were the same size).  The result is an incredibly handsome loco a bit bigger than the 3751s or any other non-articulated steamer, yet not so big it sticks out on curves too much.

My new S-1 just took over from the T-1. My little Atlantic has more miles and gets more use but it looks puny next to the two big monsters.

I've always liked our N&W Class A No 1218 as the overall proportions are very pleasing. A strong contender is the JLC Allegheny acquired earlier this year.  Tuff decisions however as the J, the S3, a Berkshire, the T-1, and the Hudson are no slouches either!
