Kline switcher motor binding

CP BOBOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

Hi, I have a dual motor Kline switcher, 1 motor spins freely and the other only spins about a 1/4 turn. It does not seem to have anything in the gears causing the binding, and they do not look chipped. I seem to remember something about Kline switchers having issues. The number on the bottom plate is kline-2100-2. Any ideas???

Look closer at the gears, it really is usually crap in the gears. Sometimes it's not very obvious, I've had a couple that I would swear there was nothing there, but there was.
