Bought this little honey from 1984, wanted an unusual retro train, new never opened, and the engine had difficulty running.  Joe said send it in for repair, 1 week later here it is running like a champ.  Had a bad core which they replaced nc.  Thanks to everybody at Grzyboski's.

I’ve been buying trains from Gryzboski’s for over 20 years. I am fortunate that I can drive there pretty easily. A couple of months ago, I purchased a new/very old stock Lionel Dreyfuss Hudson from Joe and it had an issue out of the box (shorted out the track as soon as it was powered). I called, explained the problem and was told to bring it back. They fixed the problem quickly and called me to pick up the engine - good as new, and no charge. I’ve alway found Joe and his family great to deal with.

I've been dealing with Joe and company for about 30 years and he's alway been fair and given great service. Gryzboski's has been my "go-to"dealer even though it's an almost 2- hour drive to get to them. And It doesn't hurt that the SCW Railriders (the Yankees minor league team) ballpark is right down the street from their store.

What a great toy.

A "bad core?"  Do you just mean the motor?  Nice set!  Good to see the older, simpler stuff in use compared to all of the computer-controlled trains we are bombarded with these days!     Enjoy!

I have bought from them at a couple of York shows.  I remember on 1 occasion where they had a car I was looking for.  I asked if they had any more and Joe told who I believe was his son that they did have more in the boxes.  For the ne t 10 minutes he went they the boxes searching for the other cars,

I just thought that was nice taking the time to do that, especially since it was very busy.

Thanks,

Ed

Nice! That's a cool looking set. Did it come with the Gantry crane?

I've gotten a few things from Grysboski’s online and they are definitely among the best train stores around.

Factory sealed, gantry crane, little transformer, 027 track. A great buy fun set.

Yes I do, on the road I'll get with you. Thx

I've ordered a couple of things from their online store, and at any show/meet I usually pop my eyes around their display for at least a minimum of 25-30 minutes. At the October York last year I got the last of the Lionscale B&M coal hoppers he had, unfortunately the last two were nowhere to be found. I think I picked up a boxcar or such to go with them. I always ask if I don't see what I'm looking for and get really good responses from him. I ain't ever been to their store as it is over 2 hours away from me, but would love popping in some day.

I have been buying from Joe Grzyboski and his family since he started and always received a fair deal. They are honest and reputable.  Joe was one of a few dealers that was willing to break up set only cars and sell them individually. You could always get what you wanted from his dealership and my collection has many of these set cars. Grzyboski's Trains has a huge store/warehouse that looks like a train station in Moosic outside of Scranton, PA.

I started dealing with Joe G way back when he was running a small add in CTT back in the eighties. So I have probably bought from Joe and son for more then 30 years and for me in all those years I never had to return one thing. And like Dennis L said he was willing to break up sets. Over the years I have gotten many cars that way. And I always look forward to seeing them at York and a couple of times when I went to the show in Monroeville. I have never made it to the store yet but it is on my bucket list of things I want to do. They are my go to people for all my Lionel.........Paul
