It's been 35 years since I've been to a train show, I live out of the country and my only window for travel is late August through early September 2014. Are there any good shows during this time? I'd like to visit a show around Western PA, D.C. or NYC then. Perhaps Denver. I wouldn't mind going a bit out of my way. Thanks.

If you can make it to Long Island on Sept 21st there is a swap meet in Lindenhurst, the contact info can be gotten from Carmelo at 631 666 6855. If your interested in seeing trains operate with many accessories visit the Railroad Museum of Long Island located walking distance from the Riverhead train station. For hours of operation visit the RMLI web site. You might want to check the following web site for layout open houses. TMB, COL & NLOE are all Long Island based clubs with operating layouts. Hope you enjoy your visit. Lenny J
There is a Greenberg Show in Edison NJ Aug.23-24. This is a large show, not far from NYC.
Thank you Lenny and Joe. I'll keep these ideas in mind while I make my plans.
