Hi,
I picked up the 629 & 630 cars at the Plumber's Union Hall show last month. The interiors were in good shape with the original paint, I just guess that some kid a long time ago did not like the outside colors.

Alan,
Thank you, I know I goofed up on the decals a bit.
Kevin
those look fantastic! my favorite part of the hobby.
Kevin,
You have my "Top Dog" vote!! Are you, "For Hire" to do outside jobs?
God Bless,

Kevin, they look great!!! Another "save" from the local landfill to be enjoyed now and in years to come.
They look good. Did you use decals or rubber stamps. I use the rubber stamps from Joe Mania and I always have a hard time getting them straight and centered.

Jeff,
I used the decals, but as you can see it is still hard to get them perfectly straight, especially the long ones. I would love to use the rubber stamps, but I would only use them once and then they would just sit on the shelf after the project.
Kevin
Gene,
Wow, they look great.
Kevin
Kevin, great job on those passenger cars!
I love to see these cars brought back to their original glory.
Gene, love the Hood's Milk car.
What did it start out as?
Hi Jerry...The hood milk car was a 261 Tender...My Grand father was commercial artist and he designed the Hood logo on my car. It was a milk bottle cap.
Kevin and Gene, beautiful workmanship; thanks for sharing. More tinplate saved from some landfill to be enjoyed for years to come.
