Hello, heeding this forum's wise advice, I am looking at my layout-to-be's overhead lighting before I break out the benchwork lumber.

I found some earlier posts that recommended dimmable LED spots, and they sound good to me, so my question is how do I figure out

how many I need to install to give even & thorough lighting ?  I want my benchwork at 48" and my dropped ceiling tiles are at 84".

Thks,

Rich

I space my over head track lights according to the lighting needs of the layout.  If I need an area lit I aim one or more there.  Make your rails so that all options are kept open.  I'd run parallel tracks 6 feet apart the length of the layout.  It can be a pain to add tracks later.

The following are the bulbs that I prefer after lots of tries:

PAR20 LED Bulb 75W Replacement, Bioluz LED Spot Light Bulb, 3000K Soft White, E26, 40 Degree Beam Angle, UL Listed, 4 Pack

I got these on Amazon.
