Thanks guys.  Pretty much worked on the layout about 2 Saturdays a month from 2003 to about mid 2010 with a good friend of mine.  I have always been an L&N fan.  When I went from HO to O scale I soon realized that there was not much L&N to be found in O scale.  I then adopted the N&W and C&O as they interchanged with the L&N and I really liked the articulateds.

The layout is still there, but I do not work on it much anymore as we plan to move soon.  It is roughly 30 by 30 and about half finished.  I decided not to work on the yard area and roundhouse area as I wanted to save as much track as possible in the move.

RR, Clarksville is about 30 to 40 minutes north of me.  I know a fellow in Clarksville that used to go up to Evansville to run Rick Rideouts layout.  I have been there 3 or 4 times myself, but not in a very long time.  I think he burnt himself out building that giant thing.

Thanks for all the comments.  This layout was made with a combination of efforts.  The structures were built for me.  Another friend keeps my locomotives running well.  Two of us pretty much did the benchwork, trackwork and wiring, then I did the majority of the scenery.

I have more photos, but there are really only 2 to 3 places on the layout that photograph nicely.  So basically my photos are of different trains in the same locations so I don't want to bore everyone.

I do have some construction photos that show how some things were planned and laid out that might be helpful to others that are starting.
