I posted this yesterday in the Subway/Transit/Traction section but, on second thought, it is probably more appropriate here.

Below are some pics of Warrenville's subway. The tile walls were made from graph paper sprayed with clear lacquer for sheen,  most of the advertisement signs and all of the directional and station name signs came from real 1990's subway maps.

One of the pics has a rat in it (one of about a half a dozen of them in the subway) - can you spot it?

Let's see your subways.

I visited your website and your layout and subway are great! Can you access all your subway track for easy cleaning? I purchased a large subway layout from a former Lionel employee a few years ago. I have been piecing it back together for the last 2 years. I am almost finished and ready to start on the top layout. At full operation this subway had 7 trains running with about 50 switches. It was going to be featured in Classic Toy Trains but the former Lionel employee got sick and everything was sold. I would have been happy with getting one subway train line running but after much time and hard work I will have 3 trains running. My biggest concern is getting to the tracks for cleaning......I am beginning to realize why not many people have a subway. Access is a HUGE problem. Very cool to have a subway but again very hard to get to for repair and maintenance.

Thanks Dwayne.

Access is easy. The whole subway is just a loop on a piece of plywood cut into a "D" shape with the middle part cut out. Sort of like a "D" shaped doughnut. The straight part of the "D" is visible in the front. It sits on six 2/3 legs, about a foot from the bottom of Warrenville. Can be accessed on the three hidden sides just by going under the layout, from both the outer sides of the "D" or from the inside of it.

The curves are O42
