Layout Thoughts | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

After some last minute room re-arranging, I think I've settled on a layout for my 12x18 area. It's a little basic but that's okay with me. There is room for additional spurs and add-ons. It's a double mainline with O-80 on the outside and O-72 on the inside. Thoughts?

Similar to my Layout in the Old house. I Enjoyed it a lot and so did kids.

You will want a lift out or swing out bridge in that middle run.

I certainly did real soon. Crawling under was always a pain and inevitably, when something went wrong it was on the side I was not on.

Small around the room layout that uses a WYE entrance to a yard and a crossover track to a passing siding that avoids an "S curve"
