Those of you who attended York an had the  oppertunity to visit isle kk at York and see the new tin plate set and operating accessories hopefully were satisfied. There were no prices because they are in the costing stages because of certain thinks like the sound units. The first piece to be released will be the generals followed by the tin plate set, coal ramp and coal train switcher set. The 2 in 1 bridge accessory, the texas specials, nuke plant, IRS under destruction, 2 ansd 3 D billboard set, the Pacemaker box car on fire with flames, decade 60 tonner and the operating packing plant.

These items could be produced as low as 250 pc's or max. of 500. some will be inexpensive and other will cost a little more.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!! MOST OF THESE ITEMS IF NOT ALL WILL COMPIMENT FUTURE LIONEL RELEASE'S

PLEASE be honest with your feedback.

Had I seen the Generals beforehand, I would have ordered(I love gloss finishes).  The accessories are very nice, but I am sure they will be over $350-$450 apiece...I like trains better at that price.  The Tinplate Set is very attractive...EYE-CATCHING!!!  Nice stuff...but I will wait for it to pop up at Auction!!!  No hurry!!!

I was really impressed with all of the pieces. Can't wait to receive my Generals, they are downright beautiful to say the least. The most surprising to me was the bridge accessories it really stood out to me.

I was impressed with all of the items, I'm ready to order almost all of them. The only item that I'm not planning on ordering is the tin plate set, it is a gorgeous set and if I was into tin plate it would be on order.

The coal ramp is very nice and compact, it's only drawbacks to me is that the hopper which is going to dump it's load is that the building really hides the view of the car and the coal will only be seen as it falls from the bottom of the building. The other thing that I have question about is on how will the coal will be removed from under the building,

The nuclear plant and IRS building both looked great as they are and I have no problem with them at all. And I think the nuclear plant looks better with the second tower.

But I feel that all of the items are winners.

Everything is just great Lou. I have never been a Texas Special FAN but that calf and Switcher makes me a convert.

The Tin Plate set is truly beautiful, it runs so quite and Dave said that the delivered product will be further weighted to make it track even better.

The North and South Generals are more then hoped for. My wife and son both said that they look great.

Lou the Sixty Tonner will be really over the top for toy train innovation.

As for the buildings the club is offering all I can say is anybody that dose not see something for their layout either has absolutely no space left on the old platform at all, or they have nothing but space between the ears.

Like I said before buddy, your a treasure!

Keep up the good work, we all appreciate it.

The metallic paint on the tinplate set was a knock-out.  My wife loved the Dearborn station (not on the radar at this point).  I'm a Texas Special fan and will buy just about anything you make in that road name.  The Generals looked great!!

The buildings are quite nice, but a combination of price point and size will probably keep me from buying them.

Hope that you are feeling better, missed chatting with you.

See you in Norfolk.

Not to worry about the price. we are working on them. these items will be so very limited that if you like them you will find a way to buy them. this is one reason for only taking deposits. it gives you time to save. the foot prints are not as big as they look and all the sizes of each product will be listed.

thanks for the kind words about my health. i'll be as good as new by the convention.

I have seen some of the pictures but there were several mentioned above that I don't recall seeing pictures for.  Are there also pictures at the website?

Hi Eric, they passed some flyers out at York. I don't have it with me now but will try to scan the pics into my computer later and then post them.

That is unless someone else dose it first.

the heinz bridge is the LIONEL COVERED BRIDGE WITH NEW PAINT to make it look like real wood. the swamp comes off if you like and can be placed in anothe location on your layout if you like. LIONEL SCALE loco's will fit thru the bridge. use it on a highway  for trucks and cars, with shays in a logging scene and more. remember it has sound and swamp gas too.

LIONEL WILL NOT ALLOW US TO PUT LEGACEY IN THE LOCOMOTIVE. THAT IS THEIR EXCLUSIVE.

THEY HAVE DECISED TO GIVE US LEGACEY SOUND AND A FEW OTHER FEATURES. I TRIED LIKE HECK TO GET THEM TO BEND. BY THE WAY LIONEL HAS NO INTENTIONS OF EVER MAKING THIS SWITCHER AGAIN. ALSO THE LCCA OWNS THE FRAME TOOL WHICH MEANS NO OTHER CLUB CAN MAKE THESE LOCOMOTIVES!
