Saw the picture posted in the other thread - very nice job. Are you still going to use the special "chrome" paint where we see silver in the image? Just curious because that would really "pop" off of the orange. Nice job either way.

THE PAINT IS VERY HARD TO DESCRIBE.It is a satin chrome finish not like a chrome plated one. would I let you folks down? NEVER!

How about the paint color. Is it more of a orange or yellow color?

Steve,  Lou intimated in another thread that the Prospector would be ready to order in June of 2013 for december delivery.

 

Chris, it is D&RGW gold color...check out all the DRGW photos of the ski trains and their F units on the web and that should point you in the right direction.

December 2013 delivery?  Perfect. 

 

 By then, should have the train budget back in shape after other preorders have arrived (he says hopefully).

Remind me...what's the expected ship-date for the Lake Shore set?
