If you don't get any action, it could be possible to revive it. I do see them still on various sites, I saw one on Amazon.

Most likely you've already thought of this ....
I had been considering purchasing a stand-alone LCS WiFi, but for one reason or another I'd been holding off. I guess good things do occasionally come to those who wait and Lionel announced the new Base 3 which has built-in WiFi. I've preordered one with a tentative delivery date of 4th quarter this year. We'll see how close Lionel gets to that.

I also have a Base 3 on pre-order. Given Lionel's track record on meeting ship dates, I don't expect to see the Base 3 until at least mid-2023.
