During LCT's first-quarter "catch-up" period, which extends through March 2012, will they release the Armored Loco Set, 11-6025-0?
Getting it out before the York LCT catalog release would be very nice!

Still scheduled for March, but I wouldn't hold my breath. They have, however, been doing a pretty darn good job in this catch-up period, so anything is possible. I believe I have a couple of pre-ordered tinplate sets due to arrive at my dealer this coming week.
Allan:
I agree! MY Brute four-car set is finally in transit from my dealer in Miami, FL, and should arrive this Tuesday!
I have always wanted that Armored loco ever since I saw the original at the Lionel Showroom in NYC when I was a young man in the early 1950's!
I am sorry to show my ignorance. What is this engine you are talking about?
That is interesting. Thank you Allan for linking, this is a tidbit from the past I totally missed.
The other thing I noticed checking out some of the LCT items is that a few have actually moved UP from April to March. Don't remember all of them, but I think a few of the buildings/accessories. Also, the 710 Passenger Car sets (various colors) went from April to March.
In an earlier e-mail from Andy Edelman, he stated they were trying to get the backlog of LCT product out for delivery by the first quarter of 2012.
So far, so good!
The Armored set will be out in April, perhaps before York. There has been a change made in the finished product and add-on cars, and I think a change for the better. Sorry, cannnot elaborate, because I promised I wouldn't!
April works for me--or June, July, August, etc.--but they do need to update their online shipping schedule.
The slips are a pain. The way the pink slips have been going at work, I doubt I'll have a job when my order arrives.
