Sounds like they still have that crazy engineer guy doing the voices
Thank you for posting the video.
Among all the excellent features, I have to concur - GREAT WHISTLE!
Alex
Hey Trainhead, email me.
Wow, what a Video, and what a great sound system, and great Voices!! Although the smoke wavers a bit at the whistle, that's normal. My 4-4-2 Legacy B&O Atlantic does this and They Say, It's Normal...I Love It.....Mine is do in Soon.....Happy Railroading.
Hi Joker34, Great Pictures, what about the Mars Light Effect? Have You tried that yet?
Thank You
No not yet I plan to. I may do that today or tomorrow. I will make a video of that if you would like to see it.

What Mars Light?
They come with a mars light that you can put on it.

Joker,
You just cost me more $$. Now I gave to find an es444 to go behind my N&W aux tender!
Looks great man.
The 2014 Signature catalog says, at the top of page 20, The 765 will come with a second smoke box front with a Mars Light. This is for the select few that would like to model the Earlier Look. I do not know what they are referring to, but it sounds neat to me. Either way, I was just wondering if you have this piece. Thank You.
From the catalog description...
OK, that explains THAT. Looking at the various photos posted of the model, there is no Mars Light, and today 765 no longer carries the Mars Light.
It's not a huge deal, it was just advertised as a Benefit of those buying This Particular Model of The NKP 765 Locomotive, as a Built to Order. I do not care if it's Prototypical or not necessary, it's the Bang for The Buck. Just Wondering...Thanks Marty E for your input.
Happy Railroading.
will have to wait on the mars light. I got the boiler change taken care of. Only problem is that you have to pull the light bulb out of the old head light and put it into the headlight with the mars. I did something wrong the wires pulled out of the bulb so I will try to get another tomorrow.
I apologize for asking about this, hopefully this will be an easy fix. I just wondered if this device was included. Thanks so much.
the mars light still works. its ok nothing real special. hopefully lionel dosent try to make me send the engine in for this. I knew I should not have messed with it oh well. we shall see what lionel says.

They are on Ebay right now. direct from lionel as well. not cheap
I got mine last night. No videos or other pics because: a) its just like th others shown here, and b) the layout is torn apart for major revisions and I can run.
But this is a nifty picture. Two Legacy Berks. I like 'em both. I will like 765 more when I change it to Santa Fe or Union Pacific but I won't get to that for a while. That's
I got a bad feeling about this... LOL!
too fun, two of my all time favorites star wars and trains!
Did the up ever run a 2-8-4 locomotive?
I got a bad feeling about this... LOL!
Rumor has it that the first engineer of the UP 765 is someone named Jar Jar...
Andy
Misa wanta operate steamy train!
Ah, Jar-Jar, Geez! The most annoying character ever! I'd rather have Jabba the Hutt driving my locomotive.
"Mesa locomotive engineer!"
I got a bad feeling about this... LOL!
You and me both!
The UNION PACIFIC 765?
Oh my...I think I'm gonna lose my lunch now...
The crew talk on the Jar Jar 765 would make the Legacy control system initiate automatic shut down!

How did you remove the bottom screw? Tilted screwdriver? How do you pull the wires out of the lamp...so I can avoid that .
Thankyou, very helpful.
hmm... guess I will have to wait until I get mine... any pictures of the swap?
