I'm running two different layouts on the ipad app. Both sensor tracks work. I programmed the second sensor track layout to broadcast train talk and it works fine. Here is the issue. The first layout flashes the type of train when it crosses the sensor track. The second layout broadcasts the train talk, but not the train info on the ipad screen. Tried train in both directions and programmed the sensor track. Could the issue be that I have it daisy chained to the first sensor track in layout #1. If this is the issue how do I resolve it. I'm also using the High Rail app. Which is excellent. No need to press the buttons on the other side of the layout anymore.

Thank you,Nick

Hi Nikkog,

Daisy-chaining the LCS cables from one SensorTrack to the next is correct. To help trouble-shoot this, please create a new empty custom control panel and place 2 SensorTrack icons on it. Assign both screen icons the TMCC ID which matches the two IDs of your physical SensorTracks. Then roll a locomotive over them and see if the engine info appears.

My guess is that the "not working" icon on your iPad does not have its TMCC ID set to match that of the physical track piece.

High Rail can help you confirm the actual TMCC IDs of the physical tracks, that's one of the great things about that App.

Cheers,

Rudy
