Legacy, Cab2, and Base3 Upgrades at York, Thursday October 17, 2024 time 3pm.

My Cab 2 is already at V1.74, Lionel updated it last week, but the base is V1.3, do I still need 2 writable modules or is 1 good enough?

If you bring the base you won't need any.  If you want a Base module, only 1.

I'll just be bringing the module since I'm flying and don't want to bring the base in my luggage.

Anyone else need an upgrade?  I posted the time as 3PM.

If you need writable modules, come by the Henning's Trains booth, we'll have them there.

Well MartyE guess i was wrong about all the extra time you will have at york!!   You are a good man for doing this. and all the time you put into helping guys with the base3 and app

Marty, I'll be bringing my remote (1.72) and base (1.60) for updates. I'll be there set up in the orange hall vestibule with the LCCA and Mod Squad modules so it's a very short walk to you guys.

Your Base is up to date.  You just need the Cab2 unless you just want to verify the base as well.

Also, I spoke with @Bryan in Ohio and he will be bringing both of his remotes and bases for updates too. His are 1.5. We thank you for helping up on Legacy updates.

They do not.

If you are bringin your Cab2 to get upgraded please have batteries in it!  I'll have a Legacy Base on site so I won't need the Base Power Supply but batteries are needed.

Marty, I’ll be bringing my Cab2 for upgrade. And I have batteries too!

I don't know if Lionel will be returning in the future.  I hope so but for now we are looking to have another Virtual Legacy / Base3 meeting in November possibly.  Stay Tuned as they say.

I got all the upgrade gear, PC, Legacy System and cables, packed.  Make sure you bring your module(s) if you want them created.  As @gunrunnerjohn mentioned Henning's has them available at their booth.  See ya at 3pm Thursday!

I think so because every module I create for you is tested on my Base and Cab2 before you depart to ensure the module wrote correctly  I'll show you exactly what to do when you get your module (s) home.

Thanks to all that stopped by.  It was nice to meet every one and see some old friends.  We did quite a few module creations, upgrades and even did a Base3 firmware update.

Maybe we'll see ya in the spring.
