LEGACY CAB2 NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Try taking the batteries for a few minutes and starting fresh, see if that helps.  Also, run the train brake and whistle/bell controls up and down a few times.

Even holding a key down to simulate a stuck key doesn't give me that symptom on my remote, so I'm not sure that's the symptom of a stuck key.  Sounds like a question for Lionel service.

   I agree with Guns sounds like a Lionel Repair problem, however try placing the Cab2 back in the Base and let the Cab2 remote shut itself down in the base unit. Then try using it after the Cab2 is fully charged and see what happens.

That's tougher Fred, but it's hard to say what is causing that.  I can't simulate it with a stuck key, so I'm thinking it's something else.

Perhaps trying some new alkaline batteries to see if your rechargeable ones are the issue?

Will try that. I have rechargeable in there now.

Yes I tried what you suggested. Seem to have done the Trick, for what ever reason. At least for now!!

    Seems these Cab2's need to reset/shut down in the Base Unit for some reason, every once in a wile, glad you got your Cab2 back in operation.
