Since you can run the Lion Chief Plus conventionally, that is pretty much a given.

I beg to differ here. If I put my remote control Thomas on the track and turn the knob on the remote to full, I can control the speed (Albeit very coarsely.) by using my CAB-2 to adjust the track voltage from my TPC.

It's not a very good way of doing things, but it can be done at a pinch.

It's not a very good way of doing things, but it can be done at a pinch. 

that does not seem possible as my Thomas remote runs on 18 volts to the track and voltage is not varied by either remote.  what you are doing might damage the unit.
