Hi, !

All seemed well, I found a shorted led in the tender BigBoy, but when I use the Legacy realized that the number 8 on the keyboard stopped working, only him.
Anyone have any tips for this problem? Anyone ever had this problem?
Already removed the batteries, upgraded to v1.51, I went back to 1.3 and back to 1:51 and the problem continues.

Any tips or have to send it for repair?

Thank you,

One thing that you could try before you send your remote in for repair, would be to gently clean the keypad with a soft cloth and/or a cotton bud. Although unlikely, it is possible that a buildup of dust/finger-grease/etc. could affect the function. Be very careful not to press too hard though as these screens are glass.

In addition to the above, have you tried pressing the 'reset' button on the underside of the remote? This sometimes cures strange actions.

Ok, Thanks Nicole !

I´m going to try clean up, but I already did reset.

I removed the batteries and let an overnight

Thanks again,

I agree that it probably is a real failure, but it never hurts to rule out any simple fixes first.

Leandro, I may be wrong, but I believe that the 'reset' button causes an actual hard reset to the system which is different than just removing the power for a while.

It unfortunately does not solve the cleaning, but I discovered something very interesting!

When you dial the number 8 with the plastic cap of a pen worked perfectly, so I took the pen from my GPS and everything works now when I try does not work with your finger.

Bo think it will stay that way because repair will be expensive to ship freight, beyond repair.

I have another question, if I buy the Legacy expansion I also need to load the modules in the expansion of locomotives? The base he will use the same right?

Thanks,
