Thanks for a fine video. It made me aware of something that I didn't get from the photos, which is that that cab nose hood (don't know if that's the correct description) and the windshield frame are a slightly different gold from the rest of the engine. Of course, everything depends on lighting and how the camera deals with color but I on a closer look I can see the same thing in one of the photos above.
No idea whether this is prototypical and as I am still not tempted by one of these sets I am only commenting out of an interest in how Lionel dealt with the finish. Sounds are typical Legacy, which is excellent.
