Length of AMT Passenger Cars?

What is the "body" length of the AMT (American Model toys) extruded aluminum passenger cars? They appear to all be the same length, but I can't find the dimension information anywhere. They look like they are shorter than the 15" cars by Lionel, MTH and Williams...but how mush shorter?

They're 14 inches, including the small cast diaphragms. Length over the couplers varies depending on the type coupler. Some couplers are adjustable. The observation is also 14 inches, diaphragm to drum head.
