"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Like many of you, I am mainly O Scale, but I do dabble with an outdoor layout. I'll post pictures soon, but I am expecting expansion track and it's raining today.

But i'd love to see your layouts, and I'd particularly like to know:

--what engine(s) are in your outdoor stable

--Brands? I have a start LGB, but I'd really like a Piko set.

--RC or DC track control?

--Do you use 4' (R1) circle or something higher?

Thanks in advance. I joined some G Scale forums but somehow this is the place I feel most comfortable, so I'm anxious to see and hear about what you have going.

My garden RR is 21 years old. Up until 2019 it was on the ground but my old bones got tired of the bending so  I used wood from the beach to build a table. The outside loop is R2 and the elevated line is R1. The locos, trolleys and cars are LGB and I run them on DC.

Jim, I love this! You've done a great job getting this off the ground, something for me to aspire to. Also, tying in the island and placing your railroad in perspective is fantastic! I remember Fire Island well--visited friends there in the 70s when I lived in the City. Marvelous all the way around! Thanks for sharing! You've inspired me.
