Lets see your 390e photos!

Sunrise, sorry I just saw your post or I would have responded sooner.  Here's a picture of mine.  Check the "Weekend Tinplate" posts for the last two weeks for more 390E's.  Jim Z posted a video last week.  Terry Hudon posted some pictures of his new black 390E in the 6/28 thread.

Below are pictures of my new 390E locomotive with tender.  I am very pleased with it as it is much nicer than the one in the catalog picture, which showed an all black tender rather than the tender with two orange stripes as delivered.

man those are gorgeous! is this from MTH with protosounds 3 or does it run conventionally like the prewar motors?

Mine is protosound 3 and I believe that was the only option for the new 390e's.  They were just delivered earlier this month and are available for purchase from dealers or directly from MTH.

Thanks for the photos. I agree that the catalog doesn't do them any justice! I have a feeling that the same goes for the Blue w/Nickle trim!
