Here is a williams GP-38 chessie system dummy engine
You should take a peek at that Q4. This is a picture of my Q4 pilot on the right and a K-line on the left. This is the way it was made and not the result of shipping. Because of the ladder being put on wrong and at a wrong angle. The pilot was jammed on and bent at an angle to get the ladder under the running board. Fixed this last night but it needs a new ladder. Crappy runner at low speed, jerky, too. And sounnd like the rubber band is slipping.
My T3 arrived DOA. Finally get it running and discover the rear blind driver is bent causing it to rock side to side. Had problems with the S1 and T4 also. Quality and craftmanship is poorer on the T3 and Q4 compaired to the S1 and T4. Don't think I'll be buying anymore of their engines.

I have to agree with you on the S-1 and T-4 quality. I do really like the flatter finish on those models as well. I guess I'll see how the SP GS-4 turns out. I've been lucky and haven't had any issues that I couldn't fix myself. I don't mind tinkering a bit to get that level of detail and accuracy.
Stephen, Not quite sure what you are asking here but I will try to answer. This is the JLC version of the Allegheny. I buy mostly Brass engines as I model the B&O and 3RD rail is about the only manufacture that make scale prototypical B&O steam. BF
On your lastsentance are you referring to their 2 rail models only (scale)?
No, I am a three rail modeler. Here is my town and some flats that I put loads on.BF
Sasquatch, you did answer my question on the 2-6-6-6, you do some great work !!

Im enjoying this tread so I guess I should contribute, here's a couple I converted from tree rail to two, there's no reason they couldn't run rollers thou!
